Connecting Toshiba Bluetooth to LEGO Mindstorms NXT for Windows

1. Select the Bluetooth icon from the Windows system tray.

2. From the Bluetooth Settings window, click the button marked "New Connection"

• Note: If the display window does not look like the above, the Toshiba Bluetooth stack may not be installed and the user may want to refer to the ConnectingBluetoothForWindows document.

3. Once the "Add New Connection Wizard" is launched, selected "Express Mode" and click "Next"

4. The LEGO Mindstorms NXT device should appear with the name "NXT" - Make sure this is selected and click "Next"

5. The Bluetooth Manager screen will request a passkey PIN be entered for the LEGO Mindstorms NXT device. Enter the passkey "'1234" and click "OK"

6. The Connection Wizard will report that setup is complete and display the "COM" communications serial port which is now associated with the LEGO Mindstorms NXT device.

7. The LEGO Mindstorms NXT device will now be displayed with an icon in the Bluetooth Settings window.

8. Double-click the "NXT" icon and it will connect to the LEGO Mindstorms NXT device

9. Right-clicking the icon will bring up a menu. Click the word "Details" and a complete listing of the detail of the connection to the LEGO Mindstorms NXT device. Please note the COM port which has been selected for the device.
